Victoria Beckham for Target

Toady I'm sharing some of my favorite pieces from the Victoria Beckham for Target collection!
The collection has great pieces for Women of all sizes, baby's and toddlers!

I

I was able to pick up one of my favorite pieces from the collection at my local target. I had to place an online order for the others since the availability was limited in store!
The romper I was able to grab has a beautiful scallop detail. This romper looks great dressed up or down!

A walk in the neighborhood..

We spent some time walking through our local streets and businesses last weekend. We are new to the area and had not noticed the mom and pop shops! We came across some great art and businesses!

Taking a walk does not require planning.   It is a simple way to get out your house and discover things you've never seen in your city or neighborhood.   Noah really enjoyed walking down the Street and just being a boy!

On this day I wore this pink button down top and distressed denim skirt! I paired it with these gorgeous embroidered sandals!!

Sunday well spent..

They say "a Sunday well spent brings a week of content!" I find this to be so true.  Sunday's are a busy day with grocery shopping, meal prepping, laundry, and other things.  Although its a busy day, we always find time to have some fun!

I wore this simple long maxi dress that I purchased last summer. It's a loose fit, so I sinched my waist with a belt. I paired it with my favorite gold sandals and sunnies!

Simple yet stylish!

Valentine's Day looks

Happy Valentine's Day!
Today I'm sharing some Valentine's Day looks with my little man Noah!

The first look is a romantic inspired look. The ruffle top and the pop of color on the shoes  give the outfit that romantic look I was looking for.

The second look is a more simple flirty look. This look also looks great with sneakers! Very mommy friendly!

I hope you all have a lovely day! Enjoy your loved ones! And remember to spread love all year long!

Home...

The past few months have been very exciting for our family. We purchased our first Home!

The timing was perfect! We had the opportunity to spend the holidays in our new home.

We have been in our home for about a month now and still have TONS to do.  I figured it’s going to be like this for a while. For example, our dinner table has been the kitchen counter! All I can say is dinner has never tasted so good! We have never been happier.

The best thing about our home is seeing our son running up and down, enjoying every bit of it.  At first, I was scared about how he would take the transition because our apartment was his first home.  To help the transition we explained to him that we would be moving to a new home and it was time to say goodbye to the apartment. To my surprise, he did really well!!  He made himself at home quickly!

We are also excited about doing some DIY’s. The first project was in Noah’s room. The previous owner had a small daughter, so the room had a pink and white polka-dot wall. We decided to transform part of that wall into a chalkboard wall! Also, change the pink polka-dots to black polka-dots.  We were able to achieve that look with the help of Pinterest. Isn't Pinterest the best? I had no idea there was such thing as chalkboard paint.  There are various colors of chalkboard paint that you can purchase at Target.

This is the before..

This is after….

For the boarder we used stained yard sticks. You can use regular chalk. It wipes off easily with a wet wash cloth. I hope you enjoyed this update and DIY.
Comment if you would like to see other DIY home decore.

Thank you for stopping by!

Holiday Looks

Hello everyone! First off I would like to apologize for the lack of blog posts. I have been a little busy with some new things happening in my life, which I will talk about on my next post.
Today I want to share two holiday inspired looks.  These looks are simple, but have a touch of holiday glam.
The first dress is from H&M.  I love the open detail on the back. I thought wearing leggings and booties would be perfect, since L.A has been on the chilly side. You can also dress it up with heels.
And of course, you need a fabulous faux fur coat to finish off the look.

The next look is a jumpsuit from one of my favorite stores Target. If you are looking to wear something other than the usual "party dress" this is for you.
I paired it with my favorite pair of gold heels and this fabulous faux fur coat.
