Life as a new mama!

The past 3 months have been the BEST and most challenging times in my life! Having a baby has completely changed my life, for the better!

As a mom I no longer have the time to look as fabulous as I would like to, but it doesn't mean I'm not :) (lol).  I now find myself taking five-minute showers, doing easy make-up looks, and wearing workout clothes Monday through Friday. I always try and incorporate something bright in my workout clothes to make me feel vibrant and alive!

On the weekend I have my honey home all day, which gives me a tad more time to get ready.  I take the extra time to put on a fun outfit and put on my bright lipsticks that I love.  I feel like this is important because we have to remain attractive not only for ourselves, but our partners as well.  I love fashion, it is what makes me feel happy! Just because we are moms does not mean we have to lose who we are within.

On this day I wore this easy army green slit dress. I like it because it's easy and can be paired with leggings and boots in the fall/winter season. Also, heels are the perfect way to dress this up. You can also wear some flats for a more comfortable look.

Now let's talk about the lips! The camera does not give this color justice. It's a beautiful purple Matte color that I have been loving from L.A Girl.

I'm pregnant!!! 31 week post

I recently announced we are expecting a baby boy come June! I am 31 weeks now and the time has flown by! We waited a while to announce it to our friends and family. I guess it took some time for it all to sink in. The thought of having a child is such an amazing feeling, yet scary at the same time. So far I have been blessed to have had a great pregnancy. I had some nausea the first trimester, but it wasn't to bad. I recently started feeling a little more tired. It's getting closer and I am starting to feel heavier as the baby grows. We are excited and feeling so blessed for
this new chapter in our lives.

Styling this bump is starting to get fun! I didn't start showing until I was about 6 months, so now you can really see the bump. I try to continue to incorporate my love for bright colors! In this look I wore this comfortable flowy top/dress with a neon necklace. The tribal type sandals pulled it all together! I am not a flats type of girl, so the transition from heels to flats has been a bit hard for me. A girl loves her heels! Although I can still wear my heels, flats are always more comfortable!
